Departing from Nanjing, we'll choose to travel by private van or on foot according to the season, leaving behind the hustle and bustle of the city to seek out the rarely-seen wild Yangtze finless porpoises (with a 90% chance of sighting) in the serene mudflats and on the beautiful platforms along the Yangtze River. These porpoises are among the world's rarest wild cetaceans. We'll also take you to some lesser-known birdwatching spots (the specific locations will vary with the season), where you might spot some highly distinctive wild bird species. Our itinerary also includes a delicious lunch featuring special freshwater fish dishes from the region. If you're interested, you can even join our night exploration in summer to search for nocturnal animals such as Chinese water deer, badgers, and raccoon dogs, as well as numerous arthropods.
