As one of the most beautiful eco-environmental protectors in Nanjing, he is dedicated to the frontline conservation efforts for endangered wildlife in China, with a particular focus on the Yangtze finless porpoise. He pays special attention to ecological and conservation research on aquatic organisms, as well as biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. He has engaged in field investigations and science popularization interpretation work in various locations, including Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, Andasibe-Mantadia National Park in Madagascar, Khao Yai National Park in Thailand, Bako National Park in Malaysia, and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve in Uganda.

He has planned and organized a series of influential science popularization activities centered around biodiversity conservation. Currently, he serves as the Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the Nanjing Finless Porpoise and Aquatic Life Conservation Association, the initiator of the International Ecological Conservation Union (IECU), and the Deputy Secretary-General and Director of the Science Popularization Committee of the Jiangsu Society of Zoology.
