He was formerly the moderator of the Scarabaeoidea section on the Chinese Insect Enthusiasts' Forum, a scientific advisor for "Nature's Little Parlor" in Chinese National Geography, a member of the Malacological Society of Taiwan, a member of the Nanjing Finless Porpoise and Aquatic Life Conservation Association, and an ecological photographer. He has provided photographs for "Hand book of the mammals of china" and "A guide to the state key protected wild animals of china". With rich experience in nature education interpretation, he has participated in over a thousand science popularization interpretation sessions over the past ten years since engaging in science education.
